Frequently asked questions.

Common questions on withdrawal timelines, minimums, fees, and supported methods.

01Is there a minimum deposit?
Bank transfers have no minimum first-time deposit. Card, e-wallet and crypto deposits start from $50 — above that, fund any amount you’re comfortable with. Pro Plus is application-only and has no fixed deposit minimum.
02What ID do I need to deposit?
Account opening requires a government-issued photo ID (passport, driver’s licence, or national ID card) and a recent proof of address (utility bill or bank statement under three months old). Verification is typically same-day. You don’t need additional documentation to deposit once verified — just sign in to your Secure Client Area and select a method.
03If I deposit in USD to a USD account, is there any conversion?
No — same-currency deposits go straight to your trading balance with no conversion. Only cross-currency deposits (e.g., EUR into a USD account) trigger a conversion at spot rate plus a small FX margin (typically 0.5–1%) from the payment processor or your bank.
04How long do withdrawals take?
Withdrawal requests are processed within 1 business day. Funds typically arrive within 1–5 business days depending on your payment method. Times shown are typical processing windows, not guarantees. Weekends, public holidays, or your own bank’s settlement schedule can add delays.
05What is the minimum withdrawal?
The minimum withdrawal amount is $50 (or currency equivalent).
06Can I withdraw to a different method?
For anti-money-laundering compliance, withdrawals must first be returned to the original funding source up to the deposited amount. Profits can be withdrawn to any verified method.
07Why was my deposit held pending verification?
Deposits can be held for risk-based factors including transaction size, payment method mismatches with your verified identity, or AML requirements. Most reviews complete within one business day. Submitting clear ID and proof of address during sign-up minimises holds.
08What happens if I file a chargeback?
Card chargebacks halt all account activity until resolved and may result in account closure under our terms. Most disputes can be solved by contacting our support team directly first — they can usually issue a refund within 1–3 business days, faster than a chargeback investigation. We strongly recommend reaching out before filing.
09Are there countries you can’t accept deposits from?
Yes — Clarity Markets does not accept clients from jurisdictions sanctioned by the EU, UK, or US Treasury (OFAC), or from countries where retail CFD trading is restricted by local regulation. The full restricted-country list is available in the client agreement and during account opening.
10Are there withdrawal fees?
Clarity Markets does not charge withdrawal fees. However, your bank or payment provider may apply their own charges for international transfers.
11How do I submit a withdrawal?
Log into your Secure Client Area, navigate to the Withdraw section, select your method and amount, and submit. You’ll receive email notifications at each step.
12Is there a fee if I deposit in a different currency to my account?
Yes — if your deposit currency differs from your account base currency, the funds are converted at the spot rate plus a small FX margin (typically 0.5–1%), set by the payment processor or your bank. To avoid conversion costs, fund in your account’s base currency where possible.
CFDs are complex instruments and come with a high risk of losing money rapidly due to leverage. 80% of retail investor accounts lose money when trading CFDs.
